Owned by David and Virginia Acord, Southern Heritage Woodworks is the result of David's passion of the last 15 years - recovering antique heart pine from buildings before they are demolished and turning it into beautiful flooring and furniture for homes throughout the country.

After purchasing a portable sawmill in 1994, David started sawing in his spare time and people soon began hiring him for custom jobs. David not only loves the wood flooring and furniture he creates, he's also passionate about the history behind the buildings from which the wood is salvaged.

Now operated from an 80,000 sq. ft. facility, this unique mill business continues to grow while maintaining the Acord's steadfast dedication to providing quality flooring and furniture to meet any homeowner's needs.
